Taylor Davidson is an 21-year-old singer/songwriter from Prosper, Texas now based in Nashville, TN. She began her love for music at an early age and was performing and writing songs at 11 years old. At the age of 12, Taylor started going door to door at local restaurants and coffee shops with promotional posters in tow. The talented artist was intent on landing gigs and showing off her chops. Since then, Taylor has performed at several corporate events, festivals, and other venues all over Dallas and Nashville. Some places include The Rustic Houston, TXM Lindale, Love and War, Gas Monkey Live, The East Room Nashville, Live Oak, The Cobra, Nash House, The Local, and many more.
With her sweet, controlled voice influenced by Maggie Rogers and Kacey Musgraves, Taylor packs a punch with daring, unexpected vocal grit that blurs the lines between the Pop Country and Indie Alternative worlds. Raw, emotional lyrics of love, life, and heartbreak paired with minor chord progressions take listeners on a nostalgic journey to the center of Taylor’s heart. She is the kind of genre-bending powerhouse who crafts tunes that make you think, make you feel, and tell a story you won't forget. Taylor is lighthearted, fun, and creative, with an incredible ability to make people feel special.
Taylor released her first single "Lonely " in June 2020 and released her second single, "Lighting Matches”, in October 2020. Taylor was also signed a publishing deal with Stone Rolla from July 2020-2021. In December 2021, she released her first four song EP, Tragedy. She currently is looking forward to the release of her second Ep “Worlds Apart” including one of her new singles “Man on the Moon” February 21st. .
